Lee Wyndham (1912-1978) was the pseudonym for Jane Andrews Lee Hyndman, an editor and author of books for juveniles. Born in the Ukraine, her family escaped from the Bolsheviks in 1919, leaving Russia for Istanbul. She came to the U.S. in 1923, and married Robert Hyndman (1906-1973), who wrote under the name Robert Wyndham, in 1933.
